Welcome to the fish restaurant Lofoten

Overlooking the harbor, almost at the end of Aker Brygge, lies the fish restaurant Lofoten.

Dark lobsters swim in an aquarium immediately inside the entrance, and heavenly scents of fish and shellfish waft out into the dining-room from the surprisingly small kitchen a few steps in.

At Lofoten, which has borrowed its name from a group of islands in northern Norway with fishing as its predominant industry, the menu is based on delicacies from the sea. The widely acclaimed food has a Continental profile.
